Within the art school, there is only one thing that matters. The video, shot from my own perspective, is an experimental record of this. "Is This It?!" presents what goes on inside the walls of the art academy and also shows how the film came into being.

At the same time, the work holds up a mirror to art students, art education and our profession in a stimulating way.

Binnen de kunstacedemie draait het maar om één ding. De video, die geschoten is vanuit mijn eigen perspectief, is een experimentele registratie hiervan. “Is dit het?!” legt bloot wat er zich binnen de muren van de kunstacedemie afspeelt en laat ook zien hoe de film tot stand is gekomen.

Tegelijkertijd houdt het werk de studenten, het kunstvakonderwijs en onze beroepsgroep op een prikkelende manier een spiegel voor.
